| 研究内容 Abstract |
|
| The objective of this study is to uncover the social stratification of people's activities in cities. In recent years, the availability of data has made it possible for scholars to examine the patterns of segregation in urban spaces. However, the majority of research on social segregation focuses on residential or workplace segregation, while activity space segregation is rarely investigated. Here, this study focuses on the segregation of people's activities, both non-routine (e.g., shopping, cultural activities, trips) and routine activities (e.g., work or school-related activities). In doing so, this study combines people's mobility data with socioeconomic attributes. Using multiple metrics, we calculate the segregation levels of activity places. Specifically, the study will identify the places that are experiencing more or less segregation based on social groups. This study underscores the importance of understanding people's dynamic segregation patterns in urban spaces. | |
